Standing there in the way they were—rigid, loud, vain—it was all a bit tiring. These displays were meant to tantalize, but they merely resembled wallpaper. Television static. Bold-type words draped in laurels that only held meaning because someone else decided it so. What mattered, we seemed to forget, was behind the wall. Through it. Here there are no wreaths to get tangled in, simply a place where you can see and smell and taste, where you could find out for yourself.

The enjoyment of coffee is a multi-faceted experience. There are many factors influencing our perception before we even begin brewing, an array of stimuli designed to capture attention and shape our judgments before taste, touch, or smell have their say.

Silence offers a unique opportunity to experience multiple roaster-selected limited release coffees without expectation, aside from quality. Each quarter, we’ll send you four unique coffees in 225g bags, unmarked by origin, varietal, process, or producer. The goal is simple: strip away the noise and let the coffee speak for itself.

How it works:

• Subscribe: Sign up for Silence and receive a quarterly shipment of four 225g bags of exceptional coffee, roasted by No6 Coffee (with the occasional feature from a roaster we love and respect).
• Explore: Brew the coffees however you like, experiment with different brew methods, share them with friends, or enjoy them in solitude.
• Note: Use the provided notebook to record your observations and impressions. 
• Engage: Connect with other subscribers on our Discord channel to share insights, discuss your experiences, and explore the nuances of each coffee.
• Reveal: 21-30 days after shipment, we unveil the producers, origins, varietals, and processes behind each coffee so you can reflect on your experience with a new perspective.
