We believe that community means showing up when people need it most. This year, we’re proud to support the Nelson and Area Friends of the Family Foundation (NFOF), a local charity that helps families when a child faces serious illness or injury, covering critical travel and accommodation costs so parents don’t have to choose between being present and being able to afford it.

How the Raffle Works
During our Holiday Pop-Up Market, Dec 12–13, each of our local vendors will be contributing a product or gift to create a raffle basket.
To enter the raffle, donate right here online. Every dollar donated counts as one raffle entry. (Example: $10 = 10 entries.)
All entries gathered December 1st through January 4th will be included.
The raffle will be drawn on January 5, 2026, and the winner will be contacted directly.
100% of all donations go to NFOF.
Why We’re Donating to NFOF
NFOF has been a quiet backbone to dozens of local families since 2000. When children in our region face serious illness or injury, NFOF steps in to cover travel and accommodation costs so families can reach the medical care their child needs.
These are not just bills, they’re hospital visits, treatment appointments, out-of-town stays, and moments when parents need to be with their kids more than anything else. By covering those costs, NFOF lets families focus solely on their child’s health and recovery.
How Your Donation Helps
- Helps pay for travel (gas, ferry, flights) for medical treatment outside our area.
- Helps provide lodging or accommodation when families must stay away from home for care.
- Eases the emotional and financial burden for families during a medical crisis, letting them focus on what matters most: their child.
This year, we’re giving together
During the holiday season, December 1st to January 5th, all raffle proceeds will go directly to NFOF. That means every draw ticket purchased, every entry logged is more support for a local family in need.
